Self-Care Tips Among all the Chaos

With all the recent travel restrictions, cancellations and shutdowns caused by the worldwide outbreak of COVID-19 aka "Rona" we thought it was a great time for some self-care tips. 

Re-organize your closets -- Now is a great time to rearrange your closets and purge/donate anything you are no longer using or wearing.   

Journaling-- Writing down your thoughts is an excellent way to express yourself and get your feelings out.  It’s also great for goal setting & recording those brilliant million-dollar boss babe ideas of yours. Fancy journals are pretty but just in case you don’t happen to have one handy feel free to use the notes on your phone or go old school with a pen & blank piece of paper.

Take a walk (In Non-Crowded Spaces) -- Physical activity is a core aspect of self-care.  If you can get out of the house & take a good old fashion walk. The fresh air and communing with nature will do your body good.

Learn a new skill or language -- Youtube can be the equivalent to a free university.  Pick your favorite channel and learn something that’s been hanging around your to-do list for a while now.  Duolingo is a wonderful free app to learn a new language or brush up on one you learned in high school.  

Mediate -- Getting quiet for a few moments or meditation is one of the most positive things you can do for mind, health and body.  It’s great for reducing stress and gaining mental clarity. Think of it as a mental oasis or finding your happy place.
